Everything Also Hike

Flip open the newspapers, turn on the tv.. u read and watch protests almost everywhere in the world regarding the fuel price hike. VEry depressing. But it could have been worst for myself. I could have been a car owner, at the time when the COE prices plunged. But my wife and i decided against owning a car.... so i stuck with my trusty Honda Cub. Looks like we have made a wise decision. CLose friends and especially my taxi friends have been constantly complaining abt the pinch they are feeling. I feel for them.

I better go give my bike a long due servicing soon as it seems i will be stuck with it for some time to come.

Iron Man - The show

i went to watch Iron Man the Movie with my son, Alden. i must say i was pleasantly pleased with the recreation of this super tin can hero. Iron Man was nicely recreated for the screen. Initially i thought Robert Downey Jr who plays Iron Man, was not the best choice to play this billionaire cum smart cum superheroish, but he pulled off a great performance with his wit and humour and good acting. Overall, am very happy with how they make Iron Man into a movie. Of course the advancement in CGI helped tremendously. Alden loved it too, but said it was a bit too loud. I shall await with anticipation, the arrival of the DVD.

blogging....

i am still facinated by blogging. isnt it just another way of writing your diary, albeit letting everyone read? i used to keep a diary when i was in school. its amazing that after sooo many years.. you read it again, you are immediately transported to that time, that place, that situation. i wonder if blogging will have the same effect on our memory.
